Second Masnavi Reading meeting on Wednesday, Oct 14th, 6:30-8:30pm at ETC 2.132:

Please read the second (کار پاکان را قیاس از خود مگیر) and third stories of Mohammad Estelami’s book (Darseh Masnavi).  Each story comes with a short introduction and description of the terms at the end of the story. As you know, this is a group study so please read the stories ahead of time. In addition, Anousha will be reading the story of Daghoughi va Keraamaatash” (قصه ی دقوقی و كراماتش) from daftar-e sevvom at the beginning of the session. It is available online at:
  • History Club meeting, on Wednesday, Oct 21st, 7:00-9:00pm at Chicano Culture Room (Texas Union 4.206). In this meeting, Rouzbeh will present a time line of important events during Constitutional Revolution. In addition, we’ll discuss the role of clerics during or after the first  constitution.

Book Club meeting, on Wednesday, Oct 28th, 7:00-9:00pm at Pearce Hall (Texas Union 2.404). Rhinoceros (play) by Eugène Ionesco will be discussed.
